Does Hypnotherapy really help with stopping smoking?
In a word, yes! If you are really committed to stopping then there is no reason why hypnotherapy would not help. It is effective and there are no side effects! But you do need to be committed to stopping - on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is not very and 10 is very committed, you need to be at level 9 or 10.
So, if maybe you are not quite at a level 9 or 10, then here are a few facts which you may not know - and which may help to raise the level!
Did you know that:
-
there are over 4,000 toxins in tobacco smoke?
-
those toxins include Arsenic, Hydrogen Cyanide, Lead, Carbon Monoxide and Ammonia?
-
globally, around 5 million people die every year from smoking related diseases?
-
smoking affects all parts of your body including your brain, eyes, mouth, heart, lungs, reproductive system and your bones?
-
there are many health benefits from stopping smoking including reducing the risk of developing illness, disability or death caused by cancer, heart or lung disease?
-
by stopping smoking, the health of those around you will also be improved as they will no longer be exposed to second hand smoke?
-
a "20 a day" smoker would save approximately £1,825 a year (based on an average price of £5 for a packet of 20 cigarettes)? And that saving would start the day you stopped and continue for as long as you remained a non-smoker!!
And remember - it's never too late to stop smoking! The health benefits will start the minute you stop!!
